Looking In The Mirror

When you look in the mirror, who do you see?  A person with confidence?  Goals?  Compassion?  A future?  Every day of our lives, we make choices.  And these choices define who we are.  They show everyone what kind of person you are.  What your values and goals are.  Where are you going in life.

So next time you look in the mirror, next an extra minute to really look.  Is the person staring back someone you like and are proud to be?  If yes, great!  Keep doing what you are doing.  If not, then perhaps consider what you could change.

Out of the night that covers me,
Black as the Pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
For my unconquerable soul.

In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.

Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the horror of the shade,
And yet the menace of the years
Finds, and shall find me, unafraid.

It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate;
I am the captain of my soul.
